Pictures at an Exhibition

OK, so here is the invitation to my upcoming exhibition.  It's a sheet about 21cm square, which has text on the front, and an image on the back, which is then folded about a third in from the left to make an asymmetrical A5 leaflet.  Pretty cool, eh?

The title?  Rupert Larl, who runs the gallery, seized on my blog post from April A Tourist from Mars and ran with it.  I had thought of calling the show "England and Nowhere", but the Tourist title is better, I think.

You must be chuffed, Mike. I'm sure it will be a great success.

I am, of course, Martin -- this year has a nice feel of rounding off one era and starting on another. Though how you measure the success of an exhibition is an interesting point, and one that must trouble gallerists in these times of quantitative targets, and measurable outcomes...

Very stylish, Mike. Interesting that in countries with palm tress they apparently have blue safety netting, not orange - or is this Photoshoppery?

PS "MIke Chisholm spricht uber sein Werk". In English, or auf Deutsch?

Zouk,

No, that was simply a genuinely transcendent moment here in the tropics of Hampshire.

Auf deutsch, selbstverständlich! (um, at least, until the questions start...)

That reminds me, I never did get any proper installation shots from the previous show.
