We've been watching live coverage, as valiant BBC anchorfolk fill the endless, freezing hours before the Big Moment ("Yes, Hugh, I can ask -- along with this vast crowd -- perhaps the largest crowd ever to freeze its collective butt in the open air in Washington in January -- when, if ever, will I feel my fingers again?").
