Something Even Grander

With a little more tinkering, I think this is better. I was alarmed to discover, however, that the full, multi-layered Photoshop file is now slightly over 1.5 gigabytes in size. Now that's grand.

Never having seen a kingfisher under water, I can't say for certain, but I suspect he wouldn't have wings extended there. But this is the super powered version, so what the hell. Who am I to quibble with the artist? I really like the linearity of the submarine. Do they observe kingfishers underwater?

Kent,

As these are specially trained kingfishers, they have a special underwater swimming style, not unlike penguins.

Submarines are everywhere, we just fail to spot them watching us. That's why we need those trained hunter-killer kingfishers.

And who is it that is doing this kingfisher training?

Kent,

Sigh... It seems you haven't read the preceding posts... Check out "Tales of the Riverbank"!

Right you are. I missed that one, somehow. Which leads to many other questions. But now I realize what I have praised previously - the "linear submarines" - is actually evidence of Russian incursion via their miniature vessels. Thank goodness for those trained Kingfishers!

Kent,

Exactly! Although it seems they quite quickly ran out of really tiny Russians...
