Viaduct II

Here's a pretty one from Sunday's walk:

You'll need to click on it to get the full sense of it, but it's a good example of why I like an elevated standpoint (even if another 50 feet would have been handy), and also why monochrome is here to stay. The colour version is too pretty.

Nice. From top of the wall?

Yes, leaning perilously through a gap with my Canon 70-300mm IS effortlessly doing its thing -- one of the best lenses I've ever used.

Well, to paraphrase some Brit Pop icon ... "all we are sayin, is give tripods a chance ..." Previous post.

Here, Sowt side of Chicaga, vyducts have both a go through and go over aspect, not enormous cuts in the side of hills. I nitpick.

Lately, my verification words have been ... unimpressive.

Mmm. I like that one. Lots of movement in it, to me.

I would like the opportunity to see some of these images a bit larger if it was possible

Paul,

To be honest, I keep them relatively small to discourage theft -- it's very annoying to discover your own work popping up unacknowledged on other websites, which is what sometimes happened on my old webpage.

I realise that on very high resolution screens they may be unacceptably tiny, though, so may bump them up a bit in future.

When I get around to it I will be adding a "shop" to this blog so that people can buy prints or downloads at very reasonable prices!
